Abstract
The article presents subjective notes of former ambassador of Russia in Argentina about the history of Russian diaspora and formation of Orthodox Church in this country. The paper analyzes mane waves of Russian emigration to Argentina, specific features of adaptation of the emigrants, the policy towards them of local powers. Special attention is given to the history of Russian Orthodox Church in Argentina. The author appreciates interaction of Argentine authorities with Russian diaspora.
