Abstract

Actual world economic crisis is considered as an extraordinary one. The BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China) reacted in different ways during this crisis. The most significant decrease in GDP during 2009 was shown by Russian economy, Brazilian stopped at minimum level (near zero) meanwhile India and China only diminished their increase rate. But BRIC as a whole has less costs than the traditional centers of world economy. Even more, during 2010 at the time of recovery BRIC’s (first of all China) confirm their role of main locomotives of world economy. The crisis put it well clear several common lessons for BRIC including the necessity to accelerate the modernization and diversification of productive and infrastructural sectors of national economies, to use more intensively the potential of internal market resolving at the same time the main social problems, to coordinate the action of “quartet” towards the reorganization of international economic and financial architecture.
