- In the essay is created a historical portrait of the famous Russian Germanist, Honored Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation, a member of the Council of the Center for German Historical Studies of the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a member of the Joint Commission for the Study of the Modern History of Russian-German Relations, a member of the editorial board of the journal "Modern and Contemporary History", Council of the journal "Zeitschrift fur Geschichte" (Germany), a full member of the New York Academy of Sciences (USA), Professor of the Lipetsk State Pedagogical University, Professor of History Alexander Ivanovich Boroznyak (1933-2015).
