Abstract
On the basis of a wide range of sources the article examines the process of receiving and arranging interned military personnel and refugees from Belgium in camps in the Netherlands in 1914-1919. The device of camps, everyday life of their inhabitants is shown; the question of their supply and also compensation to the Netherlands for the maintenance of camps is taken up.
