- Abstract
In the article the basic marks of the scientific and pedagogical activity of E.F. Jazkov are characterized. The basic attention is concentrated to his formation as Scientist-Americanist and as one of prominent representatives of scientists of the Moscow University from the beginning 1970. It is considered his many-sided pedagogical and administrative activity as head of department of the new and contemporary history of historical faculty of the Moscow State University, and also the big personal contribution to development of the international scientific communications.
