- Abstract
The article notes that after the Bosnian crisis of 1908-1909., in which Russia has suffered a diplomatic defeat, its relations with Austria-Hungary had been completely undermined. Like after the Crimean War, Russia was holding a deep resentment and eventually spurned Austria-Hungary, which was one of the reasons for the First World War.
