Abstract
The article examines the experience of the three Maghreb countries, who have chosen various development options: the conservative Kingdom of Morocco, Algeria, which has chosen a socialist orientation, and the Tunisian Republic, briefly "fall for" a mild socialist experiment and the influence of the Soviet Union on the development of the Maghreb countries in the sphere of economy and public consciousness.
