In the article conditions in Cuba on the eve of disembarkation of the Cuban counter-revolutionaries in a gulf of Playa Giron, its preparation by the American side and retaliatory measures of the Cuban party, and also a course of operation in Playa Giron are considered. The author shows the support which was rendered in those conditions to Cuba by the USSR and other countries of bloc of socialist countries, and also consequences of a failure of disembarkation in Playa Giron for situation development in Cuba.
