Abstract

The author is considering the project's potential impact on the situation in the Central Asian region (CAR) and adjacent territories in terms of their security and socio-economic stability. It is noted, that besides political and economic benefits the "One Belt, One Way" project and the implementation of its sub-project SREB involve a number of risks not only for partner countries, but also for the PRC itself.
