Abstract

Political, economic and moral realities of Russia and other post-Soviet States, the end of the last century have resulted in the minds of the population of gloomy moods, called the lawyers "legal nihilism." The author analyses existing approaches in science to the study of the phenomenon. According to the author, the politico-legal nihilism cannot be considered as the root cause of all the ills in society. Such phenomenon is only a symptom, the external expression of complex social problems, but not its essence. Politico-legal nihilism is a specific form of opposition to the current Government population inevitably growing in deep crises, erosion of moral and ideological foundations of society. From a historical point of view any nihilism has a thousand-year psychological and ontological, social roots, and because before the end of the land cannot be eradicated. The real challenge of power can only be his mild, for further reduction of the moods of the population nihilistic way out of economic crisis, growth of the well-being of the people, the consolidation of the spiritually-moral and political the stability of society.
