- Abstract
The article examines the federal debt at the beginning of Тtump’s presidency, analyzes factors of its increasing. Though its volume as a share of GDP is much less than in many countries, it has reached nearly 20 trln. doll. It is pointed out the role of China, Japan, other foreign sources of financing the federal debt; new challenges and risks.
