Аннотация
Служба национальных парков США отметила 100-летие своей деятельности, в настоящее время она является предметом национальной гордости американцев. В статье рассматривается создание в 1916 г. этой структуры, анализируется организация Службы национальных парков, вклад руководства в её развитие, волонтёрское движение, туристско-экскурсионная деятельность, достижения в начале XXI века.
