As a challenge, the coronavirus pandemic has exposed problems that will have to be addressed. Think tanks are not yet able to gain credibility with the public which has more faith in populist politicians and the audience-seeking media. The economy is waiting for certain changes, especially in the areas of healthcare, tourism, and transport. However, it is premature to talk about restructuring the entire system of the world economy. Dangers to civil liberties are also exaggerated. In fact, there is a proper struggle of the authorities against "free-rider problem" in the public goods production, namely security measures for the sake of citizens' health.
