- The article considers the career of Aristide Briand - French politician of the Third Republic of France, repeatedly Prime Minister of France, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Internal Affairs, Minister of War and the Minister of Justice, a co-laureate of the 1926 Nobel Peace Prize (together with Gustav Stresemann) for the Locarno Treaties, guaranteeing the post-war borders in Western Europe.
