- Abstract
- Plans of the Russian diplomacy to take part in the international congresses finishing two all-European wars are covered in article: War of the Austrian Succession (1740-1748) and Seven Years' war (1756-1763). If on the Aachen congress of 1748 Russia was not allowed, then on the congress in Augsburg urged to finish Seven years' war, Elizabeth Petrovna's diplomats planned to play the leading role. The gap the new emperor Peter III of the former unions and inal refusal of the empress Catherine II of participation in Seven years' war was led to the fact that the general congress installing new system of the international relations did not take place.
