- Abstract
The article is devoted "a principle of nationalities", Put forward by US president Wilson in 1915. It is shown, what discussions went in connection with Wilson's this idea and its realization in practice. In particular on an example of disintegration of Austro-Hungarian empire. The author also draws analogies to modern state building in Europe.
