- Abstract
The article deals with the life of the French Queen Catherine de Medici - wife of Henry II, the mother of three kings - Francis II, Charles IX and Henry III. According to the author, Catherine de Medici was not ready for the solution of political problems in the conditions of religious wars, while trying to solve them in favor of her sons.
