- Abstract
- In the article are considered the main approaches of modern Western historians to study of the genesis of the First World War. The author analyzes unfolded in modern Western historians debate on the state of international relations, purposes of foreign policy of the great powers, the character of military planning in the early twentieth century and the role of these factors in the occurrence of the First World War.
