Аннотация

В статье рассматриваются основные подходы современных западных историков к изучению проблемы происхождения Первой мировой войны. Автор анализирует развернувшиеся в современной западной историографии дискуссии о состоянии системы международных отношений, целях внешней политики великих держав, характере военного планирования в начале ХХ века и роли этих факторов в возникновении Первой мировой войны.
