- Abstract
- For the first time comparative analysis of the work by the philosopher P. Florensky “Imaginaries in geometry” (1922) and “Einstein and religion” (1923) by ethnographer V. Bogoraz is carried out. These works were developed independently, the authors analyzing routes of the characters in literature and folklore draw conclusions about “non - classical” nature of the ancient cosmologies. The author of the article draws the problem of origin of literary plot and genre, in particular, the ritual - mythological hypothesis shared by P. Florensky and developed in the studies on folklore by V. Propp.
