- Abstract
- Social and humanitarian technologies: Are they the resource for Human development or the object to manipulate withA rather detailed summary of the International round - table that took place in 2011 , March at the Trade unions University of arts and humanities (St - Petersburg) is published. The participants did consider value dimensions of social and humanitarian technologies, the problems of mass media, especially broadcasting ones, manipulating individual minds. The role of advertising in contemporary World is being revealed. Education and self - education as an instrument of counter - acting those negative trends are explored.
