Abstract
The author analyses the contents of modern conservative thought of the USA on an example of the book Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America, by Mark R. Liven. He argues the unilateralism of Levin’s estimates of the past, the present of the United States, as well as solutions of its problems. At the same time he considers reasonable some critical Liven’s evaluations of liberals and Barack Obama
