Abstract
The article analyses the main trends in Canada’s economic development in the aftermath of the global crisis. Though since 2010 Canada has been outpacing most other leading market economies in terms of GDP and other important indicators, a detailed analysis reveals deepening disparities between the booming resource-based economies of the Western provinces and other provinces suffering from the erosion of their manufacturing base.
